Our Weather Data
We have two sources for collection of the weather data outside our motorhome. First, our NetCam has a temp/pressure/humidity sensor that is under the camera casing that is on top of the motorhome. It often reads high because it can catch both direct sunlight and reflection of heat from the top of the RV. Second, we have a Lacrosse Weather station that is portable that we often set up outside the RV in a more optimal position out of the sun and away from the motorhome. It will most likely be more accurate. It is displayed at the top of our Web Cam page and on our Current page. Here the current reading (if we are connected to the internet).
You'll need to refresh your web page to get a fresh copy (uploaded every minute) The icon on the upper right tries to indicate (from the pressure and other parameters) what the general condition of the weather is currently (sunny, fluctuating, or stormy). The icon on the lower right (the arrow) tries to indicate whether the weather is tending to be better (up arrow) or worse (down). We also have a rain gauge. I'm just trying to figure out the best method to display the results. Return to RV Guy's Web Cam Page |
