Just 10 miles down State route 243 from Silent Valley is
Banning, CA. You can find food, fast-food, movies, gasoline, emergency medical,
vets, hardware, RV repair services, and other assistance in this gateway
town next to Interstate 10. This mural is painted on the Lithopass Printing
building on the way into town. It is a memorial to the Banning Highway Patrolman
killed in the line of duty. His wife painted this great mural (he is on
the motorcycle in the painting). This is about 60 feet long. |
