A couple miles up the hill on 243 from the Poppet Flats
turn-off is this overlook of Hemet and Diamond Valley Lake. Continue on up the
hill to Idyllwild. It's a beautiful drive through towering trees and the
reward is the cozy little town of Idyllwild. It's full of knick-knacks shops,
art galleries, and eating establishments. A state park is near town too. |
