above Banning, CA	01/05/06-02/05/06	Silent Valley RV Resort		Visiting relatives occasionally, working, and relaxing. This is a nice time to be here. Very few people, and very relaxing place. Come visit and get a couple days free if you listen to their low pressure presentation. Tell we sent you and I get a $50 gift certificate! Email me for details or check their web page.
Lytle Creek, CA	02/03/06-02/17/06	Mountain Lakes Resort		An ROD resort. We are close to Donna's brothers and Sisters here. Nice resort with a trout and catfish lake. Not a lot of sites for Big Rigs. See a photo I took from a ridge above the park. Here's one that shows the SMOG in LA Basin, visible in the background of Lytle Creek. Why would anyone want to live in THAT?

Lytle Creek, CA	03/15/06-03/19/06	Mountain Lakes Resort		Working, waiting for FMCA to start. Fixing bedroom window. Paid $2.73 for diesel today. Good price for the area which is generally $2.83 to $2.89/gal.
Pomona, CA	03/19/06-03/23/06	Fairplex Convention Parking Lot		FMCA Intn'l Convention, our first one! Great fun and educational. Lots of good entertainment. More RV's in one place than I've ever seen. No power or sewer, but we survived!
Pahrump, NV	03/23/06-04/06/06	Charleston Peak RV Resort & Winery		Working, relaxing and photographing Death Valley (45 min away). Beautiful mountains. Really nice new Western Horizon RV Park.
Kanab, UT	04/06/06-05/06/06	Crazy Horse RV Campark		Beneath Savage Point, close to Grand Canyon, Zion, Escalante Natl Monument, Bryce, Lake Powell, etc. Photography and working for a month. This is one of our favorite places to stay. The park is run down a bit and there are full-time residents, but it is so centrally located to the beauty of southern Utah and has good Spring/Fall weather. The prices are good too!
Mt. Pleasant, UT	05/06/06-05/07/06	Pleasant Creek RV Resort		Enroute to SLC. Great private club park, next to mountains, nice walk in green meadows behind park. Overlooking valley. Would stay here again (AOR).
Salt Lake City, UT	05/07/06-05/08/06	MotoSat Parking lot		Visiting Motosat to upgrade electronics for Internet. Upgraded to the 7000 modem and Motosat D3 controller for better speed and new features. Visiting my cousin Madeline who was a professor at the Univ of Utah.
Pocatello, ID	05/08/06-05/09/06	Trailer Park		Substandard Passport America place for overnight enroute stay. Full hookup 50AMPs. Mainly a low income trailer park. Not for big rigs (we fit, but tight).
near Island Park, ID	05/09/06 - 09/10/06	Red Rock RV Park		Our favorite summer place to stay. In sight of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Great place to relax and do photography. We are also working. Close to Yellowstone Nat'l Park and Red Rock Lakes Wildlife Refuge.
Battle Mountain, NV	09/10/06-09/11/06	Flying J Station RV Park		enroute, OK for overnight but it is a run down park.
near Cloverdale, CA	09/12/06-09/26/06	Thousand Trails Russian River Resort		Visiting our Son, daughter-in-law and new granddaughter, Chloe. This park is nice but very few sewer hookups and not a lot of places for Big Rigs or satellite access.
Duncans Mills, CA	09/26/06-10/03/06	Duncans Mills Camping Club		Nice small park (ROD system) only 6 miles from Ocean, next to Russian River, and in the Redwoods. Beautiful here.
near Cloverdale, CA	10/03/06-10/20/06	Thousand Trails Russian River Resort		Visiting our Son, daughter-in-law and new granddaughter, Chloe. Paid for 3 extra days when our 14 day period expired ($20 per day plus tax)
near Isleton, CA	10/20/06- 11/09/06	Reynolds Resorts, Delta Bay Club		Nice park (ROD) on the Sacramento delta (next to water). Working hard.
Lytle Creek, CA	11/09/06-11/21/06	ROD, Mountain Lakes		Attending Donna's High School reunion and working hard. This large park is very busy, often noisy and has a lot of young people (and children) visitors. Not a great place for solitude. A lot of the spaces are on a slant and it's hard for motorhomes to set up level, safely. Only 30 amp, but strong. Not a bad park, just not great for a lot of full-timers used to a little quieter and slower going. (It's fairly close to a HUGE metropolitan area.)

east of Ramona, CA	12/21/06-01/02/07	Ramona Canyon RV Resort		Visiting relatives in San Diego area for Christmas. Western Horizons resort in hills east of Escondido. Small, and cozy.
