The weather (for January) was magnificent, highs near 70F, lows near 50F for the two weeks. Except for Martin Luther King weekend, it was very quiet and empty. We sold our membership in this club so we could travel different places. We can still come here using ROD or Coast-to-Coast membership. | |

Here we learned that Reggie had a tumor and we had an expensive surgery performed to remove a testicular tumor in him. Donna got her new sewing machine while here. | |

Parking Lot RV park with wide spaces about 46 miles from Mesa where we visited our friends Karen and Steve (and Casey) 3 times. Nice place to walk dog. Reggie was still recovering from surgery but was doing MUCH better. |

Stayed as ROD member. Rained most of the time however. I visited Mt. St. Helens. Fall colors were spectacular along the road. |

We walked Reggie along the beach almost every day. Closest city is Lincoln City about 6 miles south. Creek goes through property. Rained almost every day. |

I couldn't even stand to take pictures of the lighthouse due to the winds, but RV spot was sheltered by large trees. Park is outside (north) of Cloverdale about 3 miles. Quiet, in trees, but no Sewer hookup. One week was really cold here, dipped into the low 20's. Rain for part of last week. Nice visit with son's family. |

Staying here so we can be with Chloe on December 25th. Nice enough RV Park. The water here is close to undrinkable due to chlorine and salty taste so bring your own drinking water. We are below the levees here. We visited my cousin Liz and Sharon in Oakland while staying here. ROD Club. |
| Lake Elizabeth, CA | 12/30/09-12/31/09 | Lake Elizabeth Golf and Resort | Google Maps | We stayed here to break up the trip into two days so we don't have to drive the horrendous Los Angeles traffic when I'm most tired. It's a Coast to Coast and costs us $10 for the night. It's new and a bit unimproved yet. |
