We went to the RV Show here. Thousands of RVers gathered here. More white tops than I've ever seen (both RVs and Snowbird heads). We boondocked for 3 nights. |

Trailer park for construction workers mainly, some snowbirds. In the desert 50 miles west of Phoenix. Clean place, except for all the dust blowing from the desert. Plenty of places to run the dog free. Not many amenties, without a 35 minute drive. We stayed there extra long because we were both sick with the flu and because I had a lot of work to do. $350 for the month. Near the USA's largest Nuclear Reactor (Palo Verde is about 7 miles from here.) Most everyone in the park is working on some aspect of the Reactor project. Nearby us is the El Dorado Hot Springs, outdoor bathing at 110F from natural hot springs. Tonopah is indian for "Hot Springs under the bush". |

Natural Springs pool, campground. Expensive. $17 per night! Texas has per person entrance fee per day plus the camping charge! We saw the most interesting moth I've ever seen. It looked and acted just like a minature hummingbird. Click here to see the White-lined Sphinx moth. Got a picture, but not very good. |

Nice! In the woods, near a river, in Texas Hill Country. Coast to Coast $2 + $6 Parked under old Live Oaks (full of Ball Moss). This place has telephones wired to each site! Quiet place. I'd return without hesitation. Went to BBQ place in Medina. |

Beautiful spot in the pines near the entrance to the Everglades. $14/night. I took a 4 hour boat ride into Whitewater Bay. Saw lots of Alligators, beautiful birds, etc. Need to come back again sometime to see it all. Warm and windy. |

2 feet from the water (an aqua marine colored lake). Warm, balmy weather. Only $99 for month. Memories: NoSeeUms ate us up. Great White Heron, lizards, nurse Sharks, Baraccuda, great walk around the lake several times/day, trips to Key West, Cruise Ship, Aunt Aud, Chicken Fricassee at local dive, 75F a night, 85F in day. Paradise (almost). |

Things to remember: antelope, ant hills, thunderstorms, heat, large field for Reggie to run, having dinner with my daughter, the musical! |
