Desert Hot Springs, CA 12/28/10-01/11/11 Desert Pools RV Resort Google Maps Parking lot arrangement in desert north of Palm Springs. Nice weather while there, albeit a bit chilly at night. We walked the dogs in large area across from RV Park at foot of mountains. Western Horizon park, we paid extra for 50 amps. Power was good.
Banning, CA 01/11/11-02/01/11 Silent Valley Club Google Maps Beautiful weather (finally) while waiting for our next reservation. One of our favorite clubs in the USA. ROD club. Good 50A power in winter with few other people here. Visited Naomi and RB in Riverside a couple times from here.
Lytle Creek, CA 02/01/11-02/15/11 Lytle Creek Resort Google Maps One of our standard places to stay in So. Cal. Not too crowded and weather was great while there this time. Visited Donna's brothers for breakfast. Mike Kibbe and John Lassiter visited and we played classical music "RV Trio" composed by Mike.
Ehrenburg, AZ 02/15/11- 03/09/11 Colorado River Oasis Google Maps Nice Western Horizon resort next to Colorado River and I10. Good 50A Power. Most of the time I was in Montana doing photography at the Red Rock Lakes Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. Weather was in mid-70's in AZ while I was in single digit weather in Montana.
Casa Grande, AZ 03/09/11-03/23/11 Desert Shadows Google Maps Typical Drive-in Movie layout, clean with nice facilities by Western Horizon ($6/ night). Good 50A Power. Hot here this stay reaching mid-80's. (It is Arizona in March).
Mesa, AZ 03/23/11-03/30/11 Palm Gardens   Very large RV park with stationary double-wides and mobile homes 55+, typical of Mesa RV Parks. Clean, asphalt, smack dab in the city. Close to Karen and Steve.
Cordes Junction , AZ 03/30/11-04/01/11 Cordes Junction Motel & RV Park   Small place off Highway I17 that we stayed for two night while waiting to get into our next park. It was quiet and the facilities were fine.
Camp Verde, AZ 04/01/11-04/15/11 Camp Verde RV Resort Google Maps Western Horizon resort. Second year we have stayed. This year we had 50 AMPS and the power was much better. (We stayed in site 15). Great trail along the Verde River with lots of great birds to photograph. Weather was warm but not too warm.
Cornville, AZ 04/15/11- 04/29/11 SRA-Page Springs Park ROD park was very small, not easy for a big rig to move around, no sewer, and rude and impolite management, but fantastic bird refuge across the street and beautiful creek next to the park.
Camp Verde, AZ 04/29/11 - 05/06/11 Camp Verde RV Resort Last minute plan to return here due to bad weather in Idaho.
Salt Lake City, UT 5/6/11-5/7/11 Cabela's Parking Lot Overnight
Ririe, ID 5/7/11-5/17/11 Juniper Campground Google Maps Great county park, with great management. Grassy lawns, next to reservoir, and at this time quiet, except the weekend crowd. 50AMP, full hookup.
Island Park, ID 5/17/11-9/19/11 RedRock RV Park Google Maps Our favorite home for the summer. Lots of snow in early season, rain too, but a fantastic summer and fall. Had to leave early for Donna's reunion in California;
Sunset, UT 9/19/11-9/21/11 Charlies RV Service Installed new residential refrigerator to replace broken one. Other maintence on RV. Good place to go for Alfa owners. Friendly and attentive staff.
Las Vegas, NV 9/21/11-9/22/11 Thousand Trails Our first stay in a Thousand Trails using our new zone pass. Extremely hot here. Power was marginal, but it worked for overnight.
Lytle Creek, CA 9/22/11-10/6/11 Mountain Lakes Resort Google Maps ROD park. Crowded, warm, some rain. Went to Donnas's HS reunion.
Menifee, CA 10/6/11-10/12/11 TT - Wilderness Lakes Google Maps Crowded, and warm, but OK!
Banning, CA 10/12/11-10/26/11 Silent Valley Resort John visited us for 3 nights. Great weather most of the stay. VERY crowded due to ramp up to Halloween.
Menifee, CA 10/26/11-11/9/11 TT- Wilderness Lakes Google Maps Visit Noami
Lytle Creek, CA 11/9/11-11/17/11 Mountain Lakes Resort Google Maps Nice and Quiet
Morgan Hill, CA 11/17/11-12/1/11 TT- Morgan Hill This Thousand Trails park is in a beautiful setting, but is poorly maintained. Power was awful. Most of the time we couldn't use the microwave. Only Propane appliances.. First night we couldn't even use the electricity due to bad pedestal. No sewer. Overall a bad experience. We won't return if we can avoid it.
Isleton, CA 12/1/11 - 12/22/11 Delta Shores RV Resort & Marina Google Maps Nice older ROD park. At this time of year the 50 AMP sites are available and the power is good. Full hookups, beautiful sunrises over the river across the street.
Isleton, CA 12/22/11-12/29/11 Lighthouse RV Resort & Marina   Older park under going rennovation, but POWER still sucks! Couldn't use the microwave at times because the power hovered at 110V a lot. Clean enough, just bad power!!! Stayed as Coast to Coast member.
