Perris, CA 12/31/09-01/03/10 Meadowbrook Seniors RV Park Goggle Maps A clean and quiet RV park where we stayed while visiting relatives and waiting for the Menifee park to accept us. This park has a few spots for overnighters but is mainly a full time living park, with high standards for cleanliness. The neighborhood is run-down but the park is behind fences and a locked gate. We enjoyed our stay here. This was a Passport America (50% off) site.
Menifee, CA 1/03/10-01/14-10 Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails

Staying as ROD member. This is a large Thousand Trails park, on the edge of town, but its being encroached on by homes and new schools all around. The only vestige of the "wilderness" left is the smelly milk cow farm and chicken farms next door. Once you get used to the smell, its still a pleasant place to stay for a couple weeks.
Ramona Canyon Resort 01/14/10-01/26/10 Ramona Canyon Resort Google Maps This is a Western Horizon Resort. We have stayed here several times, but this time, in site 38 we had the worst time with power. Couldn't run the microwave many times due to very low power. We paid extra ($6 per night) for 50 Amps and got 106 Volts! We will be avoiding this park when possible although it is convenient for our visits to my brother. My brother visited here in his new 5th wheel this time.
Lytle Creek, CA 01/26/10-2/8/10 Mountain Lakes

Had the best site in the park (319) in our opinion. This is a nice private park, large and sometimes difficult to find a good site for our satellite antenna . It's also not so quiet at time due to the large number of young families. It is convenient for visiting Donna's brothers so we like to stay here each year. It's an ROD park too.
Banning, CA 02/08/10-02/26/10 Silent Valley Club

Staying as an ROD member at one of our favorite places. Stayed in quiet section F. It gets cold at night in winter, but generally this year things were pleasant.
Yuma, AZ 2/26/10-3/7/10 Repairs by OB Google Maps We stayed with a friend in a developed area made specifically for RVs. OB does RV repairs and he helped us with several repairs on our Alfa Motorhome (stabilizers and slides and propane tank). Weather was good, with a few storms for color!
Mesa, AZ 3/7/10-3/14/10 Val Vista Village

Big paved RV Park with mostly Park Models for 55+. Charged us $6 per day extra for electric (Good Neighbor Coast to Coast club) for $22 total per night. Clean park with lots of amenities and gates. Visited our friends Karen and Steve Rector from here.
Camp Verde , AZ 3/14/10-3/28/10 Camp Verde RV Park Google Maps One of our Western Horizons for $4 per night. This is another park where the power is weak. Its a fairly large private park. It was next to a river area that I walked Reggie. Photographed a black hawk here. Visited Sedona and other beautiful Arizona backcountry desert areas.
Blanding, UT 3/28/10-5/03/10 Blue Mountain RV Park Google Maps Blanding is isolated on the eastern side of Utah. It is a decent town, lots of native Americans and desert. This RV Park is really nice and had good power and was clean. Weather was cold at night but generally good during the month. This is a great place to explore the Red rock country of southern Utah.
Rexburg, ID 05/03/10-05/08/10 Rainbow Campground Google Maps Waiting for RedRock RV Park to open. Visit eye doctor.
Island Park, ID 05/08/10-09/30/10 RedRock RV Park Google Maps Our summer home. Lots of rain in middle of June. Cool summer. Volunteered at Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. Fall leaves were on-time this year.
Boise,ID 09/30/10-10/03/10 Mountain View RV Park Google Maps Stayed at this small RV park next to the Boise airport. Lots of full-time people living here, but relatively clean. Visited friends Joel and Suzanne Price while staying here. Visited the World Raptor Center center here all day Saturday! Here's one of my photos.
La Pine, OR 10/03/10-10/23/10 Cascade Meadows RV Resort Google Maps Large RV Park in a small town south of Bend, Oregon. Cold here at night (low 20's), nice daytime temps. ROD Park with good power. Visited the Cascade Scenic Highway and the Newbury Volcanic National Monument.
Lakehead, CA 10/23/10-10/25/10 Trail In RV Park Google Maps A small Passport America RV Park off the highway mainly catering to full-time living arrangements for working folks. Noisy young family next door. Standards for cleanliness are low and although the people were nice, it wouldn't be a place I'd stay again. Donna fell down and injured her face pretty bad here, had to go to ER. Rained the whole time we were there.
Cloverdale, CA 10/25/10-11/08/10 Russian River NACO Resort Google Maps Visiting my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in Santa Rosa, about 40 miles south of here. Park is outside (north) of Cloverdale about 5 miles. Quiet, in trees, but no sewer hookup, no mail delivery. Rain and nice weather alternated.
Isleton, CA 11/08/10-11/22/10 Lighthouse Marina and Resort Google Maps Visiting my son's family and working in the Sacramento Delta. ROD park.
Isleton, CA 11/22/10-12/13/10 Delta Shores Vista Resort & Marina Google Maps Located on the Mokelumne River, this is one of our favorite spots in Northern California. Visiting my son's family in Santa Rosa while staying in the Sacramento Delta. Spent Thanksgiving with Damon's family. ROD park.
Mojave, CA 12/13/10-12/14/10 Sierra Trails RV Park Google Maps Passport America RV Park, overnight in high desert. Decent park with several year-round residents. Fine for overnight. We stayed in overflow which gave us a pull-through capability and 30 AMPS.
Menifee, CA 12/14/10-12/22/10 Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails Google Maps We had to leave early due to flooding from intense rains. We were covered with 8" of water all around RV Park due to flooding from canals. What a mess! ROD Park.
San Marcos, CA

12/22/10-12/23/10

My brother's house Google Maps We stayed on the street outside John's house and picked up Mia (his Golden Retriever) since they were going on vacation for 3.5 weeks.
Banning, CA 12/23/10-12/28/10 Silent Valley Club Google Maps Beautiful weather (finally) while waiting for our next reservation. One of our favorite clubs in the USA. ROD club. Great power in winter with few other people.
Desert Hot Springs, CA 12/28/10-01/11/11 Desert Pools RV Resort Google Maps Parking lot arrangement in desert north of Palm Springs. Nice weather while there, albeit a bit chilly at night. We walked the dogs in large area across from RV Park at foot of mountains. Western Horizon park, we paid extra for 50 amps. Power was good.
